Introduction

Hi all, Jerrod here!

Starting Sunday, June 3 2012, I am entering the "Burn the Fat 2012 Summer Challenge" along with my 4 teammates Bob, Sandy, Nieves and Tracy. Since the site is a members-only site, I'm starting this blog so that my friends, family, whoever can follow my progress this summer. I'll be posting several times a week and will have updated progress stats, photos, etc. Every week.

I did this challenge last year and dropped over 40 pounds of fat and put on almost 30 pounds of muscle in 14 weeks, placing 3rd out of a few thousand entrants. This time around, I don't have anywhere near as much chub to get rid of, so my goal is to drop what I've got, build up some serious steel, and get as ripped to the bone as I can over the next 14 weeks.
